Perform and provide a report to the Executive Director on an analysis of alternatives to determine if it is more cost effective for the CPSC to perform additional upgrades to the NEISS or switch to a more robust platform to provide user-centric design, better up-front preventative controls, and real-time oversight while also incorporating emerging technologies, such as artificial intelligence, which is consistent with the CPSC’s desire to increase the use of quality data for better decision support.
